Clemson University Field Studies fall2012 publication by Prof. Ivan Blasi

.. Why Travel? What makes cities attractive? What makes us visit them? How do we visit them and what do we visit when we’re there? What makes these cities distinct and alive? These are some of the questions which are discussed during the Field Studies seminar. Walking using earphones or concentrating on smartphones has become popular. What do we miss? Why don’t we think about what music to listen to or what app to use while moving around?

It’s just a part of the Field Studies fall2012 publication edited by Professor Ivan Blasi with our Clemson University students past semester.

The publication covers experiences of two main field studies trips to Madrid-Toledo and the second to Netherlands where students have visited 7 cities in 7 days getting to know main architecture offices and projects explained by the authors.

Thanks again our professor Ivan Blasi for all the passion for traveling, seeing the cities and architecture with the special view and for transmitting it all to our students.
