The transformed enlighted city this weekend in LlumBCN _ the BCNlight festival 2014

The light becomes the centerpiece of a major urban festival transforming buildings, streets and squares of ancient city filled with magic and poetry.

Friday 7 and  Saturday 8,  6pm – 11 pm  /  Sunday 9th from 6:30pm – 9pm

1. MAPPING BARCELONA IN PLAÇA SANT JAUME

Visual spectacle  projected on the facade of the City Hall in Plaça de Sant Jaume.

Works created over the past three years by Franc Aleu, a genius of light presents proposals magical house (Merce 2011), Barcelona, ​​home of all (Merce 2012) and The Incredible trip to the Moon (2013 ), the show that pays tribute to the world of Georges Méliès. 

Friday 7th   at   7:15, 8:15, 9, 9:45 and 10.30 pm  / Saturday 8th at  6:30, 8, 8:45, 9:30 i 10.15 pm / 

Sunday 9th 7:45 i 8:30 pm


2. CIUTADELLA PARK LIGHTS

The number of proposals that can be visited by following a circuit of light. Visual spectacle screened during the Festival of Merce on the Parliament façade and several areas of the park transformed with light.. (see here details of all the projects)

3. TRASFORMED THE OLD CITY PATIOS AND SQUARES

Specialists in design and scenographers, professionals and students of architecture, design and art throughout the city participating in this experience  illuminating a series of courtyards and spaces in Old Town.

4. FOTOMOBIL BARCELONA 

Mobile photo competition of the illumination installations during the festival.
