Miguel Roldán co-founded and has been the Director of the Barcelona Architecture Center, BAC, since 1998, designing and hosting study abroad programs for International Architecture Universities. The BAC has reached a number of over 1,800 American and Asian students since its foundation
Together with Mercè Berengué in 1988, establishes Roldán+Berengué, arqts, architecture firm with 25 years of experience and confirmed by a multidisciplinary team with experts in sustainability and design from Barcelona. R+B, arqts. projects are based on mostly all public projects from the prototype scale designs till the large scale urban projects and strategic planning projects.
They are experts in low cost and sustainable residential architecture, corporate headquarters, public and private facilities (educational, health, civic, cultural), rehabilitation of historic and industrial buildings, urbanism and planning. Their projects have been highly awarded and published nationally and internationally.
