Aleksandar (Alex) Ivancic
Alex is a mechanical engineer and holds a PhD in Thermal Science. His main professional interest is positioned within energy systems and its environmental impacts, with a particular focus on buildings and urban scale. He is equally committed to teaching, researching, and practicing.
He is currently Senior Consultant at Aiguasol Engineering (Barcelona, Spain). He also serves as a member of the International Keio Institute for Architecture and Urbanism at Keio University (Tokyo). Alex is elected member of the Scientific Society of Serbia. He is member of the editorial team of urbanNext.net
Alex has published more than sixty papers relating to energy systems, urban infrastructures, renewable energies, energy planning and computational fluid dynamics. He also published the book titled EnergyScapes (2010 Gustavo Gili).
