Carles Baiges Camprubí (Barcelona, 1985) is an architect (Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya) and urban sociologist (Universiteit van Amsterdam). He’s a partner of Lacol and activist at the housing cooperative La Borda. He mainly works on citizen participation, public space and housing rights.

Lacol is a cooperative of architects who work in the neighborhood of Sants, in Barcelona. They work from architecture toward social transformation, using architecture as a tool to intervene critically in their immediate environment. They root their activity in a horizontal system of labor, acting alongside society with justice and solidarity in mind.
